Acne Relief
Acne although usually considered an unavoidable teenage
problem, in reality millions of people suffer from this
inflammatory disease.
So what can you do to help relieve your acne?
Diet can play a major role in acne development. Eat more
fruits and vegetables and cut back on your sugar intake.
Most Important is to Clean Your Skin.
Always clean gently to not overstimulate or aggravate your skin.
When your skin is overstimulated it creates more oil.
Check that
products are non-comdogenic (do not clog the pores).
Daily: A foaming cleanser is recommended, together with an oil
control toner and oil-free moisturizer. Splash water on your
face after cleansing and remove remainder with a sponge. Throw
sponge away every six weeks.
Weekly: Use an oil-absorbing mask, twice weekly if really oily.
Always cleanse face first and follow mask with a toner and an
oil-free moisturizer. Tips:
-
Wash your hands
regularly and avoid touching your face.
-
Keep your hair off your
face.
-
Change your pillowslip
regularly.
-
Drink at least eight
glasses of plain water daily to help flush toxins out of
your body.
-
Protection from the sun
is essential by using an SPF15 sunscreen or moisturizer
and wearing a hat.
